Do surveillance cameras need to be heated?

In extreme minus temperatures, ice could form on the camera lenses.

Unlike other suppliers, Partizan does not have any devices with directly integrated heating.

However, due to Partizan's activities in Northern Europe and Russia, we know that so far there have been no problems with ice formation on the lenses when the devices are powered by PoE. It is important that the devices are operated in 24/7 mode if possible and that any interruptions do not last too long (cooling down). The inherent heat of the PoE supply is generally sufficient.

Alternatively, the cameras can be operated with special housings. The housings have integrated heating/cooling, windscreen wipers, etc.
