The DoorBird door intercom system can be installed in any network topology that is open to the outside world.
Enclosed you will find two examples of how DoorBird can be used in an apartment building with and without third-party systems.
Note: We have trained ICT specialists who are available to you during the planning phase of an object, also for network related questions.
Network topology without third-party integration
Please note that a "technical" network was created here, which functions independently of the tenants / owners. This means that the permanently installed DoorBird components will continue to function even if the Internet fails. For increased security, the external call station has also been physically decoupled from the door unit and the opening signal is sent via the IO module.
Network topology with third-party integration
Please note that a "technical" network was also created here, which functions independently of the tenants / owners. In addition, the dedicated network is used for the other systems (telephony, smarthome etc.). For increased security, the external call station is also physically decoupled from the door unit and the opening signal is sent via the IO module.
